UNM Engineering professor part of $7.5 million DOE quantum computing research

Milad Marvian, an assistant professor in the University of New Mexico School of Engineering, is part of a $7.5 million Department of Energy (DOE) project to research quantum algorithm theory and advance the study of quantum computing.

“Our goal is to develop novel mathematical tools that can enrich our understanding of the power and limitations of quantum computation, and provide fresh insights into the design of new quantum algorithms,” Marvian said.
