Quantum networking firm Qunnect to establish presence in Albuquerque, boosting city's tech ecosystem

A quantum networking company will be settling into the heart of Albuquerque soon as part of a local venture studio’s coalition.
Qunnect, a quantum infrastructure company based out of New York, was selected to join Roadrunner Venture Studio’s coalition to help develop Albuquerque and New Mexico’s quantum network, the company announced last month on LinkedIn.
"Across the United States, there’s a lot of buzz around quantum right now, and there are a number of cities that have started to try and build up a presence to support research and innovation,” Qunnect CEO Noel Goodard said. “What we were very excited about in New Mexico was the opportunity to do this for quantum networking … to build out a really unique asset that becomes an attractor to researchers and industry across the U.S., to be able to come and use a network we’re building (here).”
